Despite the ludricous over-support of P. Mickelson, I at least saw him giving low/high fives to audience members as he walked by. I also see Fred Funk do the same.
I'm not saying he's not great, I'm just saying he's a bad role model, and its obvious to anyone who doesn't have extreme fandom towards Tiger. Smell the coffee, its free.

Woods did not like being criticised by his former coach Butch Harmon during the week either, while his caddie Steve Williams was spoken to by a rules official after grabbing a photographer’s camera on the second tee.
David Fay, executive director of the United States Golf Association, stated: “If there is an issue that Steve has he should bring it to the official’s attention. Let security deal with these incidents – it does not help Steve, Tiger or the championship.
I guess Woods whining about how hard the course was never happened either, despite being reported by the BBC (among other sources).
Seems to me like Tiger fans are basically just the summer's edition of Leafs fans. You blindly defend this guy, attempting to thwart every FACTUAL insinuation that he's not a good role-model, make excuses about how his slump isn't really a slump (somewhat agree with that since you have to actually play to be in a slump), and then go on to rejoice at how you're right and everyone else is wrong.
According to the article I quoted above, the camera incident happened on the SECOND tee, not the first, which would account for why those people mentioned above (who were behind Tiger on the FIRST tee) didn't notice it going on.
Lotsa heads shoved up lotsa asses around here these days it seems.
Dan
PS - If I'm wrong, at least I'll have the sack to admit it.[URL=http://www.sportsfiend.ca/]Sportsfiend.ca - Make You Opinion Into News...
