08/09 best canadian team!
this is always a good thread!
Who do you think is going to be the best Canadian team in the NHL this season?

Habs! Lang was a nice pick up, solid up front, solid D, let's hope Carey Price keeps improving. Dude looks like an Olsen twin with all the weight he lost this summer.

I predict the following finish of the Canadian Teams:
1. Habs
2. Sens
3. Flames
4. Oilers
5. Vancouver
6. TorontoI got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Sens or Flames. Habs will do well. Vancouver & Toronto will stink it up.

for me 1.Ott 2.MTL 3.Cal 4.Van 5.Edm 6.Tor
look forward to the sens/habs first couple of games. alot of speed for the habs but Ottawa pushed them around last year with a much smaller team than they have this year! should be some good hockey.

3. Ottawa
4. Vancouver

6. EdmontonWhen applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

Sens will miss the playoffs, unless they get a good GM... no, Murray is not a good GM. He has not done anything good since he started...

my heart says Ottawa, but my head is telling me Calgary. I really think Ottawa is gonna be better than last year, and think Gerber actually having the #1 job outright will only help him, and if not Murray WILL get another goalie because he knows his job is on the line finally.
On the other hand I love the way Calgary plays, to me they play the style of hockey that i grew up trying to play. They have so many underrated really good players and youngsters, I think if Kipper has a good year, they could challenge seriously.

Definitely be the Habs, Sens and Flames fighting it out for top spot. Regardless of how they finish, think it'll be close. Not a Toronto fan at all and dreading the Saturday night games this year, they are going to stink it up. Just hoping that the CBC clues in and gives us some variety.
1. MTL 2. CAL 3. OTT 4. VAN 5. EDM 6. TOR

1. Ott
2. Cal
3. Mtl
4. Edm
5. Van
6. Tor
I think Mtl and Ott will be neck and neck to win the division but I'll give the nod to the home town team
