Played Greensmere this afternoon

Played Greensmere today. Only the back nine open right now and it was in excellent shape. Greens were excellent. Fairways were actually being mowed and this is only the first day open. I could have worn running shoes and not got my feet wet. Only standing water was on 13 and it wasn't bad (another day of 29 will help dry that out), and a bit on 10. They may open the front nine on the weekend but I understand that it is fairly wet right now so they're smart to just keep the back open. No carts yet and no tee times but very, very enjoyable.

what was the green fee price for nine holes ??

Hi Steve,

I think the price was $27 for 18 holes and that will be the weekday (Monday - Thursday) price until the middle of May I think. You can check the web page at www.greensmere.com and I think the prices and some pictures are there. Not sure of the 9 hole price. Come on out and enjoy.
