The correct shaft for my wife..
Hmm, funny title, (insert joke here)..
Anyways, I am wondering what shaft to put in my wifes new driver. She has used reg flex and ladies before, and I did not see much difference, maybe a little more consistent with the ladies, though. She hits the ball around 200 when hit well. I am not sure of her swing speed, but.. don't really want to do the whole fitting thing. What would be the best for her? Would she get more out of a regular or just a l=flex? I am guessing she would hit the ladies further?b This would increase her swingspeed by having a lighter shaft? LMK your thoughs.
ThanksMy name is Paul. And I'm a golfaholic.

I wouldn't touch that line for anything. Good luck on your advice.

I'm not afraid of this topic.
If she can hit it 200 then she can probably handle the stiffer shaft. Something in a 55g "R" or "A" is probably a good fit.
You can pick up a pink NVS from the Aldila Ebay store quite cheap these days. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

I am about the same, I hit around 200 on a good day too
It is pretty personal, but one of my driver shafts is 255 cpm. The L I would spray everywhere. Aldilia NVS is pretty soft in R. I also have a very stable Mitsubishi Bassara shaft in my 905 R that I really like Don't know the CPM but is is the Mitsubishi Bassara Ultralight 53g,Reg Flex,44",Tour Velvet Grip.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the advice, folks. I will probably stick with R then. The pink sounds like a good idea jvincent. It will match some of my pants! Thanks for some female advice as well, little Brit!
