Cleaning off the rust.
I have a Callaway "X" C grind wedge. I know, now, that it is supposed to rust but I really don't like the look of it rusted. I wish I had known it was supposed to rust before I bought it. Does anyone have any thoughts on the best way to scrub off the rust without scratching it?

A green scrubbing pad will take the rust off. But it will just come right back.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Soak it in Coke.
My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

If you're sure the coca~cola isn't going to permanently damage it, I'll give it a try.

The Coke does the same thing as the green pad. The rust will just come back. You can have it rechromed or done in black oxide if you don't like the finish.

you will have to clean it every time you use it just about if you do not want the rust. you should have gotten the chrome wedges of course.
maybe you can trade for them or something. i have these same wedges, love the rusting effect, helps produce more spin

If I had known, I would have gotten the chrome one. This thing produces so much spin now I can't imagine it getting any better! Shreds the ball cover though. I just wish I hadn't played in the rain 2 days in a row 2 weeks ago. Before that I kept it nice and clean and never had a problem. And after playing in the rain I should have blow dried it. Oh well. Thanks for the tips.

yup, those MD grooves sure eat up your ball, but sweet spin.
to clean them you can use scotch brite scouring pads ( from grocery store) also you can use some wd 40 or other lubricant when not in use for a bit
but really, it will be next to impossible to keep rust of them
