My guess is that the reporter who cast that vote is from Wisconsin...

I personally would have debated voting between Brady and Moss. The QB is the most valuable by default most of the time, but Moss made Tom's job much much easier this year.

That's why I'm surprised that Favre didn't get more votes. 16-0, yes. And Brady is a world class QB, no doubt. But they did bring in a bona fide stud at WR to help him out.
Favre led the same basic team that went 8-8, and missed the playoffs, in 2006, and 4-12 in 2005, to a 13-3 record and a real chance at a Super Bowl berth this year.
IMO, he deserved more than one vote. When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

I agree ther was only 2 choices Brady or Moss.
This clown that voted for Favre should lose his right of voting for the MVP. Some of these people that vote for these should be suspended or just kick out when there vote is totally bias... just me thought.

Could also make a case for Manning to get votes. People always wondered how he'd do without Marvin, and this year we found out. He put up 4000 yards and over 31 TDs I believe. And add to that his messed up offensive line!
If I cast a ballot, it would be Moss, Brady, Manning, Favre and Tomlinson in that order.Donny Vantage NFL Guru, since 1974

I think the award is a joke, but it is what it is. They hand it to the guy with the best stats, and don't consider the "most valuable" part. If they did, the guys in the trenches would get more recognition.

Hold on, do you actually know that the voter was from Wisconsin?????
It doesn't matter where he is from.
Bias could be:
1) He is from Wisconsin so he votes for a Packers
2) A big Favre fan. I love him but like you said probably 4 or 5.
3) The guy doen't like New England
I like your list Moss, Brady, Manning, Favre and Tomlinson.
There is always bias in these votes but stupidity is another thing...lol
