    Anyone know why Weir withdrew last weekend?

    Was there an injury or was it just out of frustration?

    I watched Weir and Vijay at Crowbush last Monday... Vijay shot 66 on very little sleep and Weir shot 70 with four or five lip-outs. He was striking it great, but couldn't make a putt... not than an exhibition has any real meaning, but he certainly wasn't a happy looking chap during the round.

    I'd have loved to have a whole week off after the Canadian Open. But I went to PEI for a charity event on the Monday after the Canadian Open, and while I loved the day, it was too much. The timing wasn't right, coming off the British Open and then the Canadian Open.

    Correct me if I'm wrong (and I know someone will) this all originated from an over-zealous fan hugging him at the Canadian Open a few years back?
