Now why would you spend money on Vokey Spin Mills and only use them during 10 rounds so far this year? Jarred you need to pick the pace up a little bit Using this working at a golf shop is a poor excuse! I handle bags full of clubs 3 days a week for 24 hours and I still want to play golf! In fact I played Thursday to today, 90 holes. Did 36 on Saturday, walked and carried both rounds. If an old man like myself can keep up this pace surely a young stud like you can
PS, if you want to unload those Spin Mills for a discount price (Since you rarely use them ) let me know!My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

i think its a good excuse... all you do is work at a golf course... i talk technicalities and sell all day... it can get to you after 9 hours of doing that 5 days a week...
and there is no way your getting those spin milleds! im taking those to the grave with me

I beg to differ....I worked an 8 hour shift yesterday and couldn't wait to get out on the course.
To tell you the truth, the more time I spend around clubs and talk about them, the more it makes me want to go out and use the ones I have.
Maybe different strokes for different strokes.

Enjoy your golf time now Geoff. Once you slip that ring on her finger your rounds will be reduced dramatically Newlyweds are not allowed to golf as much as guys like me who have been married for 25 years. Once you reach the 20 year plateau you are free to golf as often as you wish, they want you out of the house! My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

Geoff, that is not a good sign that she wants you out of the house that much this early in your time together. But take advantage of her generous offer. Once that first baby comes along then you are TOAST!
Hey 26 rounds is pretty good for a guy who was going to quit golf last summerMy opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

Isn't retirement grand? Of course I am semi retired as I am only 51. I decided I wanted to work 3 days a week and that is exactly what I do. Monday-Wednesday in the Back Shop at the local private course. I love it. I can golf Thursday-Sunday. I can golf Monday to Wednesday if I want to. Can't beat that, 7 days a week for golf!
At the rate I am going I should make 150 rounds this season! My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

Hey Moose Head, trust me I served my time when I was young. It has been the last 6 years that I have really started golfing as much as I have. My daugthers are 22 and 19, so that is not an issue now. My wife is pretty easy going when it comes to my golf habits. As long as golf does not interfere with family matters then I am good to go! I must be doing something right, we just celebrated 25 years of marriage last month.
Hang in there, your time will comeMy opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

As of yesterday, August 1 I have 73 rounds in for the season (all of those played in Ontario, no Florida golf)
22 rounds during the month of July (Part time job. What part time job? )
Pretty sure I can reach 100 for the season
So where is everyone else at now that I revived this thread? My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

I've got 81 so far and I'm sure there are a few I haven't included as there have been a few scrambles. That's not including my 35 in Florida. Should be able to hit the century mark this month.
