Cartier vs. Emrald Links
Which one should I play on sunday, I've haven't played either and they are both within $4 so cost isn't a factor. Which one is in better condition? which one is more fun (in terms of holes, set ups for right handed players ect)
thanks for your help. No rush on getting back to me, i've booked both and let them both know I would be canceling one of them

I'd have to agree, if you're paying full pop, definitely go with EL. I'm not a big fan of the course, but condition and layout wise it's much better than Chateau Cartier.

I vote Cartier. Its a much better layout, better conditon............................thought I'd try to make it less lopsided.
Emerald Links is a very nice course. If I had to choose, I'd play Emerald over Cartier. I just find it more enjoyable."A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." M.Pare 10/09/08

100000% Emerald. A whole lot more fun to play than Cartier. I'm not even going to bad mouth it!

Emerald Links without a doubt. First, layout favours Emerald IMHO and with 27 holes vs 18 at CC you have more variety. IIRC water will come in to play more at Emerald on most of the 9's.
Having just played CC Sunday morning in the rain I found the greens a bit slow, but honestly that was more to do with the rain and the fact that due to the weather they were still working on the course. Greens were running pretty true (8 - 1 putts for the round).
The nice thing about CC is that other than #1 and #18 you're not near any buildings/housing - a definite plus. The bad part of CC is #17, to me the hole should be at Disneyland.
Enjoy whichever course you go to!

Emerald definitley!!!
BUT WAIT!!!!!!
You may want to reconsider for Sunday, since EL is hosting the Intersectionals
at 11:00.You can never golf too much. What was that dear? Oh okay. Maybe you can.

Should not effect you if you play on your own fairway
