smugglersglen
Played Smugglersglen yesterday with 2 for 1 coupons from the ottawa golf show I would say this is the best course I have ever played including anything in the area or the 50 plus Ive played in Myrtle Beach. Course conditions were unreal for this time of the year a real shotmakers course not many level lies played back tees shot 84 hard to putt not sure if uphill or down hill. For $50 with cart we will be back.

It definitely a nice course. For 50 bucks a real steal. Glad to hear you enjoyed it.

I remeber the back being fairly tight.. Well lets say this.. I played there last year.. Shot even on the front with an unplayable on 9 (thats a tight driving hole).. Started spraying the driver on the back and it wasn't pretty
Super track though..Proud Member BigJohnnys Ryder Cup Team '08

Smuggler's is a great course, but having played Eagle Creek and the marshes I'd put it a close 3rd place. It might be the most visual off the tee, sort of like an upscale Le Sourcier.
I found the fairways a little shallow, you don't want to dig too deep there with a high iron. Maybe it was just a couple of holes.

fairways very good and the greens are fantastic.I doubt that there are any better at any time of the year
well worth the effort to play.

Anyone know when that $49.00 with the 1/2 cart on the weekdays is running until? I'm just that lazy and don't feel like calling.

I was referring to the Spring Special, not the golf show coupon. It doesn't say when the deal is over on their OG Feature Page.

Might have to make plans for a Road-Trip this week. Weather looks perfect for it!

well I played it for the second time two day s ago, great great course. I didn't find the bottom of any fairways this time, I must have gotten unlucky last year. Greens are brilliant but don't roll quite as quick as they look like they are going to.
I have to take back my not as nice as the Marshes comment, It's a pretty close call. It's kind of apples and oranges tho.
