How many closet Ho's are out there
We hear all the time how Geoff is the biggest club ho out there and although he's tempered his compulsive behaviour he is still the King. However I know and you know that there are a number of you that are wheeling and dealing or you just simply like to buy new stuff to try it out. So this poll is to expose all of you club ho's that have been in the closet. So how many sets of clubs do you have sitting at home?
Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing, ... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

I'm not realy that bad, I just keep buying and have a tough time letting the older stuff go .
I think I'm set now so my inventory should not increase this year, at least thats what I tell myself ( and my wife ).

Had to choose the few sets putters wedges woods lol.
JUST got rid of my extra sets but still have 3 drivers, 4 putters and a bunch of other golf related toys I don't need. Maybe one day I'll get around to listing some!

Well i chose one set and few extras, I tend to buy new stuff but sell the old as soon as possible. Last years bag was complety new, this year is complety new except the Irons. So no backups sets or anything else i just like one bag and a couple options!

I missed the button for one set of irons, a couple extra clubs and a dozen putters...

I saw this and I thought The Saint was going to be setting up some kind of 12 steps program.
That or we was starting a cult for club ho's with himself as leader.
For the record, I have a backup set + a few extras.

Well lets see, I've been golfing and buying clubs for 25 years and in that time I've only sold 2 sets of irons 2 drivers and a sand wedge. So that leaves.......OMG I am a super Ho. I figured it's either buy a lamborghini or surround yourself in golf clubs, Well I drive a Sable so you know where I stand.

I am a Semi Closet Ho.
Currently I own 3 sets of forged irons.
Two drivers
a couple of extra wedges
Only one putter (Hence the Semi Closet Ho}
I keep looking for another putter but I want the right one for the course I will be working at. Lightning fast greens most of the time so I need a lighter flat stick for that course.
Oh ya, 4 golf bags in stock. My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

Golfbum, see if you can track down an old Slotline inertial. They are pretty light compared to today's putters. I have one as my backup.

I'd say there is a bit of ho in me, but I tend to find something I like and stick with it and don't vary too much with things - especially irons. I experiment from time to time with drivers, woods, wedges, to see if I can find something better but if not, then it's back to the trusted favourites. Also, the wife starts to ask a lot of questions when there are too many clubs lying around. I remember a couple of years ago, she said "When did you get new headcovers?" If she only new it wasn't just the headcovers that were new (as well as the clubs sitting under them) ;-)
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

HA! Only one other person voted the same way as I did. Contrary to what many of you might think, I only have one set. I don't fill my rafters with clubs like some people around here, wink wink, nudge nudge. Hence why I needed to borrow some clubs to play this week, my set is in for some surgery........my one and only set. So there!!!!!!

I have two sets of irons but that's because my 15-odd year old titanium shafts on my Ping Eye 2 set needed re-shafting after I busted two shafts at the hosel (on good shots, not chunks) within a couple weeks of each other last year.
I got a set of Ping i3 Blades here and fell in love with them.
I know I'm already "grown up" but when I really grow up, I want to be just like Geoff and The Saint and strive to be as great a ho as they have set a great example!!!

I have a few sets of irons and some misc old stuff. THere is my main set, a more modern set I got recently that i'm going to play until it gets warm and a set from somewhere around 1953 I picked up from e bay cause I thought they were cool.
There are also some old Wilsons hanging around tte house that I'm not going to let get tthrown out. There's a specific setof Wilson Staff Tour blades from 78 I think, that I want just "to have" and would grab almost on a whim if the price quality was favourable.
