Rain jacket, which one?
I'm looking for a new wind/rain jacket. I don't play much in the rain, yes I'm a wimp, so the jacket is more for some warmth, block the wind, and play in spring showers and light rain.
Anyone have a Storm jacket? Here's the link from the GT site.

I'd like to get the FJ Dryjoy, but $300 for a jacket doesn't do it for me.
Thoughts?
Thanks!!

what size are you? I have a M/L Stormtech jacket and pants for sale. All black (check the classifieds - other golf stuff). It's as good as the storm line. I bought one of the Sunice Goretex rain suits - there is no substitute but it cost me a small fortune.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Three years ago my wife bought me a short sleeve Second Skin rain jacket for summer use. It is a great rain jacket, keeps me warm and dry. The nice thing was the cost was only $40 + taxes at the time. By far the cheapest rain jacket on the market then. Check them out, you can find Second Skin on the net.
My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

i golfed in the fall in the rain - it was a tournament otherwise I wouldn't have played. I got soaked so enough was enough, I found a Goretex sunice jacket at GT for 50% off after christmas. Now i have no worries about rain.

And the January 6th round you played, was in a tournament?
I know - the fact it was January 6th was reason to play ALL by itself.
I know cus I was there in the rain too. Thats where those Sun Mountain push carts come in handy - with the umbrella holder on them. Stay dryer longer!I've spent most of my life golfing .... the rest I've just wasted"

Ditto what jeffc says. If you really want to stay dry Gore-Tex is the only way to go.
I've played in downpours with mine. Once you are dry, which you are with Gore-Tex, playing in the rain is actually kind of nice.

I bought a Callaway rain jacket off Ebay last year and I'm really happy with it. I used it last Fall when it was just above zero to golf in, so it's good for warmth too. The nice thing about it is that all the zippers and seasm are sealed with rubber, so it's pretty waterproof.

actually, that's the beauty of Gore-Tex. It breathes and let's the moisture out while keeping the rain out as well...

I have a number of Sunice jackets that were left over from a tournament last year. They are about 1/3 retail. What size are you and I will send you information.
