The web page for Trillium Wood lists some hotels but the pricing is for stay/play packages.

Wouldn't that be I. M. Apainintheass???
Its ok, I can take it Chris, you aren't in the minority thinking that!
PS. did I ever give the feedback on that last sale?
If they allow Cadies, I would love to caddie for an OG guy but not Chris, I could cary one bag no problem, but not 2 cart bags stuffed with 64 clubs which is what i'm sure the Saint will have!Proud member of the 2009 OG/TGN Ryder Cup Champions

I love the caddie idea. Since I'll have my three wheeled Sun Mountain Cart, pushing it would be a breeze. Would compensation in beer ... after the round be appropriate?

The email has been sent to the other captains asking what they think of caddies. I think the bigger question would be what would Trillium think of caddies. I know they offered us cart usage at a discount, so that would eliminate the need for caddies for those groups that choose to ride. I'll see what the captains have to say, and depending on their answer we may have to call Trillium to see what they think.

I personally would love to have a caddie, someone great with yardages would be super. Being the ham that I am it would be one more person to have fun with, I love crowds but I don't think the course would allow them unless they paid something to the course, maybe they'll go for charging caddies 10 dollars to walk the course. I would walk the course in a heart beat if I had someone to talk with while walking. I couldn't walk 36 at this time cause of the knee but 18 is usually no problem. Have I mentioned that I hate to ride a cart .If the course will allow caddies I'll bring a pull cart cause there's nobody that will ever carry my bag as much as that bad boy weighs .

As part of my captain duties I felt I should get to know my players a little better. So I asked each player to produce me with a honest assessment of both their strengths and weaknesses in their games. I was going to use this to help me select my pairings. Some assessments were very detailed, others were short and sweet. Regardless, hopefully I made some good choices for pairings:
Geoff Johnston & ironmaster 15213
Lance LePage and jvincent
Jarred Perl & John
davevandyk & The Saint
Pinshark and mpare

That's OK. I haven't hit a ball yet this year.
Just pulled the clubs out to put them in the car. I expect the 19th tee to open this week, which means my lunch hours will be busy for the next several weeks.

just played a round today at Burlington Springs, it was amazing to get out today for the first real round of the year. Hit some tops in the first 3 holes, then really played well, shot 82 today, not bad considering it was the first time i saw my clubs in 4 months, and it was +1 only!!
