    Spikes on shoes

I have a pair of ecco golf shoes and I was planning on replacing the spikes but for some reson the spike will not come out no matter how hard i try. Is there any tricks to gettting the spikes out. Ive done this before but for some reson they are reallly stuck in good right now.

With the proper tool, try it after running the bottom of the shoe under hot water.
    This should soften the dirt.

Hopefully you got a bench vise. Tighten the shoe (dont crush) in the vise. Clean away all dirt , liberally apply WD40, let it sit for an hour or so, then give her hell. Takes rusted bolts off engine blocks, should take out a spike...

Not sure if this sounds funny, but are you spikes Q-lock? If so I had the same problem till the lady at kevin hiames gave it a 1/4 twist in the opposite direction and they just poped out. Felt like an ass, but never knew my shoes were Q-lock.

    Dan,
The WD40 should help loosen them. You may still need pliers to get them out. Once you get them them out, Vaseline the new ones before you put them in. You won't have the problem next time.
