Ok here it is... Not great pics but they will have to do.. I have these on a cd some where along with videos with circles on my head and swing plane lines and all that good stuff... Maybe I will try to find it.. So this is it. The chicken wing sucks and thats why I hit it like 260.. I get the odd one out there in the 280+ mark.. Thankfully my short game is very solid... There are some good things you will see here too.. Head is pretty still, swing plane is good.. I like frame 3 in pic 2..

I'd love to share but I've never had my swing taped or photographed. I guess I might be in the majority if only two of you have added them to the thread.

I have drawn on the "Turned Shoulder Plane" line and the "Shaft Axis Plane" line. Ideally, your left arm should coincide with the TSP at the top and as you come down your hands should return to the SAP and then to the ball, with the shaft coinciding with the SAP when it is perpendicular to the ground when view from in front. Your hands coincide with the TSP, therefore you are above plane.
Without some compensations you would likely hook the ball. However, because you "chicken wing" the left arm up the side, the hook is blocked and your soft fade results. There is nothing wrong with doing this except that it is more difficult to time a compensation than to be in the ideal position where the correct "release" will just naturally happen.
From the face on view it is apparent that the back of your left hand bends backwards as you come through the ball which is caused by the "chicken wing." The result is a loss of power and perhaps, at times, some accuracy. From face on, it is obvious that you have an excellent downswing transition move and judging by your size and apparent strength, your 260 yard length is way to short for the quality of the downswing move that you have. Again, being off plane and the resulting " chicken wing' compensation, is the cause.

Thnx for the imput BC .. Your bang on. I would like to work on the chicken wing but being a new father I don't have a lot of time.. When my timing is off I do struggle.. Thankfully as I said before I scramble like crazy.. I get up like nobodies business lol.. My putting is also very solid averaging under 30 putts (mind you getting up and down you have a lot of 1 putts)

I saw my swing on video when I went for my lesson this season. After seeing how bad it was I don't want to see it again. Hence the reason for me not posting.

KJP, I like the nice shortened controlled backswing. And as for the shorts......no comment.

Nice relaxed setup position. Your back is a little rounded and can be "straightened" by sticking your backside out a little.
Top of the backswing - you are on perfect plane where your left arm coincides with your shoulder turn plane. Your right elbow is close to or on the shaft axis plane and the lower arm is parallel to your back. This is ideal.
Through impact your left knee seems to move backward and your your left foot seems to change its position. This is characteristic of a blocking action. Sometimes when this happens the golfer will hook it left but more often than not, the ball goes right. When you miss, do you miss right of left.
While your tempo is fast, it is smooth, and fast will hit the ball farther than slow. Overall, you have a very good golf swing.
Did you play in your seniors invitational in July?

Nice controlled backswing there, looks like your miss would definitely be a pull left.
