    Sharing Clubs

Rule 4-4b allows partners to share clubs, but according to the rule they must only have 14 clubs. This is the rule:

Partners may share clubs, provided that the total number of clubs carried by the partners so sharing does not exceed fourteen.

Does this mean that between the two bags, they can only have 14 clubs, or can partner A have 14 clubs in their bag while partner B only has 13, say no putter. Partner A never borrows a club from partner B, maintaining their 14 club limit, and partner B only borrows the putter from partner A, never another club, thereby maintaining an illusion of having 14 clubs.
It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

I know one guy who would have loved borrowing my putter in Kingston... poor Mike. At least, he's got an unfair advantage now when going mini-putting

    Thanks.

After today's round, I felt it somewhat appropriate to change it from Driver, lol :crying

Sorry. I can't make it more clear than the Rule itself.

In your scenario, the partners would be over the limit by 13 clubs.

    Thanks Gary,

    That's what we thought.
