Hi Guys, my name is Steve and I live in Granby, Quebec. I enjoy reading the posts, and have learned a lot from the site (Thanks Doug). I finally have a question for one (or all) of you; I have an R7 Quad that keeps on fading, even though I have set it up according to TM's specs. Do Ineed a new shaft, different weights, or a new club? I keep the ball in the fairway more often than not, and when I HIT IT ON THE NOSE, 270 to 290 is not uncommon. Shaft is original TM stiff.

I just got an R7 TP 3 wood and let me tell you this thing is a rocket. I've hit a couple in the 260-270 range with this thing. Mine is set up for a draw, but I hit it either straight or with a fade. Go figure. That's fine though. I haven't tried it in the fade position and in fact i am a little scared to.

Set it up with the heavier weight on the the heel. and practice turning when you,or while you hit the ball. Hopefully this helps.

Thanks Manitoulin, but I have tried both. Maybe I need heavier weights on the heel than the 2 x 10 gm supplied with the stick.
