I have the Net Return (hopefully will get converted to the simulator version soon). I paired it with Country Club Elite golf mats sold by J McGrath and the experience is unbelievable. My mat dimension is 10 X 6 and only 1" high because I didn't want the 5/8 thick foam under layer due to having ceiling height of only 9 ft. The highlights:

1- The mat is firm enough and does not settle down like the cheaper imitations who claim similar face weight density. So rest assured that you will be leveled with the ball.

2- The 1" is thick and dense enough that it would be impossible for the club to completely bottom out.

3- Use your own tees!

4- Provides sufficient feedback for indicating fat shots due to dense fibers.

Bottom line is it makes practicing exponentially more pleasing. Also, when I'm hitting iron shots, I set up right at the middle of the mat which means I can aim directly at the center of the net (Im 5'7 average arm length, shaft to forearm angle of 120 deg., 40 deg. spine angle w/ hands under chin).

The only thing missing now is the GC2.
