Geoff, when I have days like this (you saw one of them last time we played) I think it has a lot to do with setup. When I'm hitting it right, aiming left sometimes moves things around into a better position and produces a straighter ball flight. Sometimes if I aim left I actuall have to try in order to move the ball left to right, go figure.

It's a catch 22 for sure, not so much this year but last year I tried to play the fade off the tee with mixed results. Like I said, the best shots sometimes were to aim left and actually try to fade it, kind of defeats the purpose.
