About the same as they were the past few years. Fairways a bit rough in places, as were the greens. They seemed to have done some work on the bunkers as they were better than the past 2 years.
Le Diable was in pretty good shape, definitely better than the past 2 years. I heard Geant was not in as good of shape though.
Played Heritage today and a lot of the greens were rough, though they did have some good ones that rolled nicely. Fairways were ok in spots but not the best, same goes for the tee boxes.I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Has anyone played Chateau Cartier this year yet ? How is the condition?
Better or the same as previous year?

I got two opinions on Chateau. One that its in great shape, nice greens good fairways and the other opinion was from a good buddy that is a member here in Buckingham who said that it was not in good shape right now. I choose to believe him more. Maybe someone else can chime in, either way enjoy it buddy.

Never played the course so cannot comment on current conditions I’d only add that over the years I’ve come to learn that everyone has a different opinion of what aligns with their expectations. I have read here that a course is mint, which to the poster and relative to their experience might be very true. I look at course conditions / experience in relation to price. If you’re paying $250 for 18 holes it better be something memorable and I’d evaluate it against a very high bar. But if you’re paying $25 for 18 and a cart I wouldn’t expect much and wouldn’t slam the track because the traps aren’t raked. At that price you get what you get. My two cents

Mississippi is in insanely good shape. Greens are mint and fairways are like carpets. They just redid a bunch of bunkers too. Super impressed with the conditions this year.

Hunt is really good, the best I’ve seen the course since the renovation 7 years ago. Green speed has been between 11.6 and 11.8 the last week and it’s hard to hit a putt on line that won’t drop. Fairways are largely flawless. Work is still in progress to finish up a couple projects that were delayed with focus on the tree damage and there are a few cosmetic things that need to be touched up, but for those coming to the tournament in August you will get to see the course at its very best.

Perth is in pretty good shape, greens are running fast and true but are not soft so you get more roll on full shots.

I am abidextrous, I once golfed right-handed and now I shoot left-handed just as badly!

le Falcon , in Hudson , is in fantastic shape. Hopefully whoever buys the course leaves it as is and it remains a public course. I have heard some rumblings about it being sold to build more houses or the course becoming a private members course.
It is worth the drive from Ottawa.
