    Golfing in Quebec- Non residents

    From Groupe Fortin:
The Quebec government announced on August 24 the details of the implementation of the vaccine passport. The vaccine passport will be implemented in Quebec on September 1, 2021. It is an official and free tool that certifies that a person is adequately protected against COVID-19.

As of September 1, Quebec will require visitors and residents 13 years of age and older to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 before entering the following places:

    Restaurants (dining rooms and patios).
Indoor and outdoor events (including golf competitions, golf tournaments, banquets and weddings).

Non-Quebec residents must present a photo ID and proof that they have received 2 doses of vaccine.

Proof of vaccination is not required:
    To play golf.
    To access the pro shop.
    To use the restroom.

When picking up food at restaurants for take-out orders.
Quebec residents must download the VaxiCode application which will allow them to download their own QR code to show proof of vaccination. Customers can present their QR code on paper, in PDF format on their smartphone or from the VaxiCode application.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
