    Whitetail Golf Course - Walkable??

Hi all, playing Whitetail in Eganville this weekend for the first time. Just wondering if it is a walkable course or should we ride? We usually walk Dragonfly, Oaks of Cobden, Timber Run, Rockland, Perth, Smith Falls. Tough time walking the last few holes at Renfrew so we usually cart at Renfrew. Thanks.

I would suggest riding. It is fairly hilly and there are some good walks between holes.

It's a fantastic course and worth the drive and in great shape. Don't let the first couple of holes fool you.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

It's walkable , but the last few holes are very long, have fun , it's the best in the region imo
At the end of the day ... It gets dark

It's walkable as much as Renfrew is. It's a comparable walk, I have a feeling Whitetail is slightly more demanding as most of the holes involve walking downhill or uphill, whereas Renfrew has a number of flatter holes especially on the front 9.

I always take a cart when first playing a new course. That way you can see how long between tee offs or lots of hills. This way you will enjoy or hate the course for what it is like. If you walk it and get tired and start hitting bad shots you will not enjoy the course.

I was a member there for a few years. My first year I walked. That lasted for about 5 rounds and I got a cart pass. It’s a lot more difficult to walk than Renfrew with some serious climbs and distance between tee boxes. If you’re not familiar and playing at peak time on a weekend, I would cart just to keep the people behind you and the marshals happy. Great course! Play short and right on hole 3 & 5 and avoid the temptation to go for the hero tee shot on 6. Enjoy.

It is walkable ,very nice walk but on the back 9 there is one hole that might be a calorie burner where its an uphill to the next tee box
