    Sore hands/Fingers

Anyone else dealing with sore hands or fingers? I am trying to figure out the cause and how to manage it..but golfing a few times a week doesn't seem to be helping.

    Hopefully it is just inflammation.

I had a similar problem last year and it would not go away. Got to the point where I could not hold the club.

I started on finger and hand exercises every day (I used Harvard Health) and slowly it just stopped. I still do them a few times a week.

Hope your situation is something like that

I had one finger on left hand that I believe was tendonitis, lasted a few weeks so I found this finger tape at the Loblaws pharmacy, its like a cushion wrap,it helped so much till the problem went away recently, but am still using it as it actually helps with gripping..

Have you changed grips to a different model recently?

Several years ago I regripped with Winns to try them out and within a week of having them on I developed pain in all my fingers. It took a couple of weeks for me to make the connection but once I put my regular model on the pain went away.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

    No new grips...
I will be trying the hand exercises. Perhaps my hands are not used to playing as much as I have been the last 2 weeks.

You might be gripping too tight. I find when I am tense or not swinging well, i tend to grip tight and that hurts my fingers next day.

This helped me. After doing fingers and hand exercises all week, I played pain free yesterday. Thanks.

Try going to a larger grip (i.e Golf Pride CP2 Pro Midsize grips) They will help with pain and grip pressure.
