    Course conditions - long roughs

Anyone else finding the rough to be really long?? What's up with the 4incj cuts and lack of cutting to be more exact?

I had the same experience, what did they do for the month that the course was closed. Dandelions one foot high and rough at least 5 inches try to find your ball. I played with a guy that must have lost half dozen balls on Sunday.

It's pretty much on all the courses that I have played so far. Very thick rough and I lost a few balls which is annoying .

Just consider it a warm up for the US Open, actually I saw the same thing at Outaouais, pretty long even immediately beside the fairway. I am sure this will be a short term problem.

I am abidextrous, I once golfed right-handed and now I shoot left-handed just as badly!

Played eQuinelle this morning and yep, thick rough, not super long, just thick. It definitely makes hitting the fairway worth it.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Ok...so it is not just my home course. Hopefully it gets cut soon. I cant afford to lose more balls 5 yards from the fairway.

Perth had extremely thick rough as well. It is the time of year where it almost has to be cut on a daily basis. It will get a lot better once the real hot weather hits.

It does make the round goes longer as people are looking for their balls.

Keep it in the fairway lefty. Lol
For a few years at outaouais there is no in between cut between the fairway and rough. As a member I do agree that rough will turn your club sideways

Found the same thing at Cobden but overall the course was in decent shape. Played Casselview today---rough was a little high but lots of areas still to be cut. Definitely not worth 78.00. Course conditions just OK. My .02 And the parking lot was empty---no rain to speak of.
    Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?
