Thanks for asking Marcos, you're the best... It took me five holes to get the rust out yesterday, then a string of pars to finish up with an 83.
It was a relief being out in the open, and to shed the weight of the pandemic, unencumbered as it were for a few hours in the freedom of the game.
Today was tough, the winds didn't help, the 'Hylands' I played on saw the ball sail... I'll be back at it tomorrow, and loving it...

both actually. Lots of unused vacation due to the lockdown so may as well use it while I can golf!

Eight of us were lucky to book times at Metcalfe yesterday, (9 holes), and the weather gods smiled on us. But...on 8 of the 9 holes, there were guys out cutting grass between our 2 groups. (One came over later to apologize, because he cut across as one of our group was teeing off.). Three times we had someone from another fairway wind up in ours, which is not unusual there, actually. What was annoying is that one guy refused to move or wait for us to play past him, and insisted we get out of his way while he played on our fairway in the opoosite direction. While I accept there may be no rule against this, shouldn’ t he wait until we play past? Sorry if this sounds like a rant (yes I know it is). In spite of this, we had fun just getting out, finally.
