Ontarians playing in Quebec.
I'm thinking of running the gauntlet and playing a round on the dark side.
Any thoughts, suggestions, tips, etc........................

'Dark side' comment aside, I am afraid that if you are an Ontarian, as stated recently on this forum for a similar thread by Administrator regarding Ontarians crossing the border to play golf in Québec...
"...OttawaGolf does not condone BREAKING THE RULES, MAKING YOUR OWN RULES, - this is exhausting. Time to close this thread. This is COMPLETELY WRONG".

In previous threads it was mentioned that the Gatineau Police were patrolling parking lots at golf courses. Does anyone have further information on this? Have tickets been issued to Ontario plates cars? I know of a few people that have crossed the border to play with no repercussions as yet. Just asking for information purposes only....not planning to break any rules currently in place or encouraging any improper behaviour.

In case anyone cares, here are the official rules according to the Govt of Quebec.
Border between Québec and Ontario
On April 19, 2021, the border between Québec and Ontario will be closed to prevent the spread of variants. Sporadic checks will be conducted to limit travel between the two provinces.
It is prohibited for anyone from Ontario to enter or be in Québec.
Allowable exceptions:
A person who owns his or her principal residence or a secondary residence in Québec and, in the latter case, is responsible for its maintenance.
A person who is required to travel to Québec for humanitarian reasons.
A person who is required to travel to Québec in order to obtain care or services required by his or her health condition or to provide such care or services to a person who so requires them.
A person who is required to work, exercise a profession, or attend an educational institution in Québec.
A person who is required to travel to Québec in order to comply with a court order, to respond to a court subpoena, or to enable the exercise of parental custody or access rights.
A person who is employed in the federal public service and whose workplace is located in Québec and whose presence is required by the employer at that workplace.
A person who transports goods in Québec or in transit through Québec.
A person who has to cross this border in order to reach his or her principal residence located outside of Québec.
A person who is required to enter Québec or cross the border as part of an international trip or a trip to another province by bus, train, ferry, or plane. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

You are also allowed to go to the Gatineau for hiking and walking the path on the weekends between 1pm and 7:30pm
