My first at Equinelle today. Nice course, beautifully maintained. Got the cold treatment from two members who, we were matched with. I understood they don't like outsiders getting some of the Tee-off, as if they own the course.

Odd seeing as it’s public and I’ve had great experiences playing with all sorts of members there
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

I play allover it's a first in the last 20 years or so. I guess, with time, you meet some ''odd'' ones.

After an absolutely perfect evening for golf at the Meadows, I can honestly say the course is in fantastic shape , I've never seen the fairways so good , a few greens have a few spots that need attention but overall very nice
At the end of the day ... It gets dark

Rockland East-West was in exceptional shape. Greens and fairways are excellent and surprisingly dry considering the rains we had yesterday.

Very impressed with Pineview this year. A couple tee boxes are a little beat up and they sanded the s#@* out of the back 9 greens yesterday but overall, very nice! Love their patio!

Thanks for the nice review. We are seeing heavy volume which is tough on tees where irons are hit. Several new tee decks opening next week.

Yes, the greens were top dressed this week but they will be back to normal by the weekend.
This is not the Pine View you remember from years gone by. Come back and see what we have done and what we have in store for the future - www.pineview.com

I agree, if the greens are fast, you can roll off the front of the greens when putting from the back of the greens.

Hi Kak...sorry you had a bad experience with some member players. I've been a member at Equinelle almost 10 years, the majority of the members realize that this is a public course and "we" don't own the tee times...tho a few think we do...again, sorry you played with a pair that do. Hope you come back! Cheers

I know it's a minority, I already went back (with a better experience) and will continue to do so. It's such a beautiful course, tks.

Great conditions Jeff. Well worth it. I almost don't want to say anything because it is getting tougher to get tee times!

We played last week---you can sure see they need rain---the course itself is in decent shape but the "sidelines" really could have used a good drink I sure hope they have received some of the rain that has been around.

Played Montebello on Friday. The greens are probably in the best shape I have seen them in years. Fairways are very good and rough is thick. Unfortunately the bunkers are not in very good shape. I understand that there are no rakes because of COVID, but it looks like there has been no routine maintenance done to them at all.

Played Le Diable on Thursday and Friday. Course got hit hard by the water damage. Lots of bunkers are washed out and joy playable. Waste bunkers have massive rocks, not little pebbles. Greens and fairways were really shaggy and slow. Cool layout to look at but definitely not worth the price in current condition.

Has anyone played Rockland or Emerald links this year? I have never been to either one, but want to try some new courses.

    Thanks!

Thanks, is there a go to combination? East-west vs south-east vs west-south? Or all pretty similar?
