So alll golfers out there. We dodged a bullet here and the Government is allowing us to do something that we love to do. So please everyone follow the all the rules and protocols. Any screw ups and you know they will quickly shut golf down. So take this as a warning. Behave and we can all have a great Spring and Summer doing what what we love. Especially since we’ve been blessed with such great weather this Spring.

The Kevin Haime Golf Centre is allowed to remain open during the current Ontario COVID-19 Protocols with the following guidelines:

Each reservation may only include one golfer. No shared hitting bays.

Masks are required everywhere in the facility outside of your assigned hitting station.

You may only check-in for your appointment 5 mintues before your assigned hitting time.

Received the following notice from Metcalfe today (I would assume that other courses have similar protocols in place):

Premier Ford and the Ontario Government announced today that the province is going into a province-wide declaration of emergency and a stay-at-home order effective at 12:01am on Thursday April 8th. Included in this announcement is confirmation that outdoor golf courses and driving ranges can remain open.

We grateful that the Ontario Government has recognized the need for safe outdoor activities like golf and we are able to be open when so many other businesses are being negatively affected. We are truly fortunate.

We also recognize that it is CRITICAL that we CONTINUE TO BE SAFE in 2021. We need your help to ensure that you are adhering to all of our COVID-19 protocols.

We would like to remind you of some of the key protocols.
NEW Masks on Carts & Outdoor Common Areas
If you are allowing 2 riders from different households on a cart, they MUST wear a mask while in the cart.
Masks are required in all outdoor common areas until golfers reach the 1st tee and after you finish your round until you are in your car.

Physical Distancing
Stay a minimum of 6 feet away from people not in your household.

Screening
Stay at home if you are showing any Covid-19 or flu symptoms. If you are unsure please used the Government of Ontario's screening tool.
.

Gatherings
There is a maximum outdoor gathering limit of 5 people. There must be no pre or post game gatherings in the parking lot or anywhere else at the club.

Arrival Time
To control the amount of people in the common areas, if you arrive more that 20 minutes before your tee time you will be asked to wait in your car.

Food & Beverage
NO indoor or outdoor (patio) food service allowed. Hickories will offer are Pick Up, Take Out and Delivery, and beverage cart service
