    Putts to the right.

Hi. I am a beginner golfer and I am consistently missing putts to the right. Any help?

This is a classic symptom of looking up to see where your putt is going before you finish your stroke.

Concentrate on keeping your head down until well after you have hit the ball.

Try forward press, tilt the handle of your putter a slightly towards the target just before putting, so your hands will be leading the putter.

If you asked Ben Hogan this he would say, "Aim farther left."

Most of us have some sort of sight error meaning that when we think the face is aimed at the hole, it is actually right or left of it. I would suggest that you crouch down facing the hole from down the line view, line up the sight or aiming lines on the putter to your aiming point and then walk around to your normal setup position withoout moving the putter. Then, trust it. It helps to have a putter like the two ball or something similar as this makes aiming a breeze.
