    Backyard Putting Greens

    Has anyone had a backyard putting green installed ?

    Looking for Synthetic materials.

    Not sure if Synlawn or Rymar are better?

    I built a 9x14 indoor putting green in my basement and I purchased the material from Rymar. Awesome family run business here in Ottawa. They have a showroom to view the products.

    I picked up a Synlawn 16x12 putting green a few years ago from a fellow that wanted to go even bigger. Great quality and I decided to install it myself......I'll let you know if I ever finish the damn thing

    Moral of the story: it's not cheap, but you're buying TIME and quality.

    My Scottish DNA would not allow me either pleasure...but THIS year will be different for sure as I take on another pandemic project after the hard work of ripping up my whole backyard and laying down 5000lbs of interlock! What remains is the putting green area which should be a walk in the park compared to that ordeal...
