Passing of another OG member
Sorry to inform all OG members that a good friend and fellow worker for many years Downhillslider ( Les McBride ) has passed away from cancer. He was a very good club maker and was the owner of Maxfli. Please remember him in your prays

Really sorry to hear this. Cancer sucks.
I had Les do lots of work for me over the years and I remember picking up a club I'd had him build me one time at his firehall. I had my 3yo son with me and Les gave him the grand tour, had him sitting in the driver seat of his ladder truck and had him wearing his helmet. So kind. Deepest condolences to His family , Les was a huge part of OG and I worked with him a few times over the years .The man absolutely loved golf and Everything about it especially with his club fitting and Maxxfit golf .
May he rest in peaceAt the end of the day ... It gets dark

Oh man, Les was always great to me when I had club work to do. Very skilled and great service. He will be missed for sure. RIP
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

I remember Les and I were at Greensmere and Les was lining up a tough long putt and took his time looking from every angle and then proceeded to stroke the ball and it sailed by the hole 15' and he just looked at me with a wry smile and said "how come that didn't go in". We had a good laugh at that one.
