Are there any other courses that have not punched their greens yet ?

    Thanks
Metcalfe. But I think they are booked solid for this weekend.

Played yesterday, the fairways are full of fertilizer as it was punched recently. The greens were punched with big holes so they are a bit bumpy but no sand. The course was full and unfortunately we were stuck behind a slow 4-some of snowbirds starting at ~8am...At one point there were 3-4somes lining up their carts behind us on one hole. There wasn't much we can do until one of the marshal came out and hurried the group along at the 5th hole. Pace picked up a bit but it took almost 5 hrs to complete. Overall it was a nice day walk this late of the season.

That is odd as we found the Smugglers greens to be a bit shaggy but still quick and rolling well.

This is about Casselview. Anyway, it doesn't matter, the courses will be closing in a week or two. There is always next year!

I made it down to Smugglers on Saturday (Nov 14) morning. I found the greens to be excellent, smooth and fast I didn't see any evidence of aerificaiton. The normal 1st tee was closed for construction, but other than that it was fantastic. One tee box on the par 3 16th was pretty chewed up but that is nitpicking. Just a gorgeuos day, the course was full and we still made it around in just under 4 hours. The toque and winter golf jacket came off a couple times, even saw a fellow golfer in shorts. I'm eyeing the 14-day forecast and not willing to call it a season yet.
