    Driver with regular flex shaft

Friend of mine recently got back into golf, has been using an older PowerBilt brand driver that cracked recently. He has still been using it so hoping to surprise him with a "new" driver next time we play.

He has a slower swing speed so a regular flex shaft would be great - looking to keep it under $100 so let me know what you have. Thanks!

Ping G5 offset 12 degrees. Ideal for slower swingers. See my add:

Taylormade Burner, perfect for slower swing speed, this is a 9.5 shafted with an excellent Taylormade Rocketfuel R flex shaft. Playing length around 44.5" which is better for a beginner. $50 I can even put on a lite VLCT flex shaft if you think it is better for his swing speed.

Whatever you decide is up to you. But unless your friend tees it up real high or swings on an upward angle anything below 11* won't help him no matter what the flex of the shaft.

I see slow swinging women hitting low lofted driver all the time. Then I ask them to hit their 3 wood. Guess which one brings about the best results

I think the G5 will be good for him as well but it all depends on what you define as slow swing speed.
