The Meadows Website PSA
This is just a PSA for The Meadows Golf club website.
Letting people know it has been hacked and they should be weary of going to it.
If anyone knows the owners you should advise them ASAP.
I work in IT and try to be kept up to date on bugs and vulnerabilities.
I also dabble with penetration testing on my own self hosted networks, servers and websites.
My computer is clean and this happens on all my devices as well as some of my other golf friends.
I get redirected to another scam site that will pop up with "Congratulations you won!!"
This happens 1 in 5 or so time I visit the website.
Another example I know they've been hacked is the google search results as seen in this screen shot.

Unless they started selling Viagra and are allowing a fake Canadian pharmaceutical website to have a link in their results, they were hacked.
I've also noticed an increase in loading time for the website compared to when I started booked tee time at start of season.
End of PSA.Last edited by zer0ish; 07-03-2020 at 08:27 PM.

I haven't heard anything from them from my Twitter post or emails but I just took a look at their website and it looks like they fixed the issues.
They are using a new web designer and also have a valid certificate for the site until October 2021.
I don't see any random Viagra and pharmaceutical ads either in the google search.
It's now safe to log into the website.
