Kingsway, probably the best condition I have seen there in a few years. A pleasure to play.

Played Dragonfly for the first time a few weeks back, excellent condition, greens were great. Fun layout and for $35 with a cart for a Saturday afternoon, great value.

eQuinelle has been unreal this year, greens are probably the best I’ve played all season and the fairways are immaculate. Pace has been great too, don’t think it’s taken longer than 4:15 to play a round. Tough to get prime tee times for us members, never mind the general public. Pretty much have to book on the app 9 days out if I want a early morning tee time on Saturday or Sunday.

Greyhawk Predator is in great condition. Greens are really nice. I was surprised to see weeds growing out of some bunkers, guess they aren’t maintaining them at all. Might be my favourite patio/bistro in the area. Great value for the twilight guest rate, think it was around $50 for 18.

Black Bear...well worth the drive. Maybe the nicest course I’ve been on. Everything was A+, the fairways are wonderful, greens are challenging but roll true, and the layout in spectacular. Even the bunkers are extremely well kept. Other than the “Par 6” 11th hole, the day was incredible. They’ve got a summer special going on, paid $100 tax in for 18 and a cart on a Friday morning. Get down if you can, you won’t be disappointed.

Unlike Smiths Falls which had every fairway with large yellowed areas Mapleview has sustained decent fairways and their greens and tee boxes are in very good shape.

Geant is closed for the season. Played Diable in June and it was in horrible shape. Also played la belle and it wasn’t much better. Heading up again the weekend after next and can report back
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Played Montebello about a month ago as well...Course was in good shape..Greens were a bit slow and bumpy, but I would imagine that they would be better by now. We had a great deal, $45 with cart. I am not sure if that special is still valid.

Played Le Maitre back in mid-June. Fairways and tee boxes were awful, Greens were fine. Was very disappointed. Not sure if it was a rough winter, short staffed, or a combination of both.

Pretty common theme among the club link properties. There just isn’t as much money being invested into the courses and the results are entirely predictable.

Cassel View again today. Packed--4 hr 10 minutes and excellent conditions. A couple of t-boxes getting a little beat up but I think that is understandable at this time of the year. Also Equinelle on Tues---excellent as always
    Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

Played la Belle in good shape
    Some green were rough

    Manitou In ok shape
    Dry fairways

La bete was in great shape

Le diable was also in great shape
All this course had a few greens with some winter kill
Le diable and la bete are the courses I would recommend at the moment

Diable must have come a long way because 6 weeks ago it was awful.

I always take the reviews here with a grain of salt. I’ve read about Stonebridge being perfect. I suppose if your point of reference is only Manderly then sure Stonebridge probably seems pretty darn good. As for the tremblant courses the reviews I’ve received from friends who have played this year haven’t been good. Courses have really fallen off. Not sure why Diable continues to be ranked inside the top 100 nationally. But then again the Marshes is ranked ahead of Rivermead so these rankings aren’t that telling

    Greens were rolling fine
They were watering 2 greens while we were playing on a Saturday
Which was bit of a distraction and delay
One or two greens were patchy
    Fairways were green
waste bunkers Had a lot of small rocks /gravel
One waste bunker in the back nine was bad
No sand just bare And unplayable but I was the only one in that bunker
Some tee boxes were a bit dry
Again this was a super busy Saturday
They had close to 100 bookings (pro shop told me that )

Oaks of Cobden is in rough shape , love the course and people there , but they can't continue to charge full price with the current conditions imo
At the end of the day ... It gets dark
