    The marshes looked as if they had their cups in upside down today...not too bad but the ball had a tendency to bounce out. You could tell though that a putt would have normally would have gone in so it wasn't too bad. It was just nice to be on the course again.

    I haven't seen those yet, but they look good. At Smiths Falls they had a little "knobby" at the base of the flag pole, just below the level of the green, to keep the ball from dropping into the cup. It worked well except for one putt in our group that was going into the centre of the cup and ricocheted out of the hole. Counted it as a "sunk putt" though . The foam in the bottom was at another course and works okay.
    You always hit a good shot on 18 to keep you coming back.

    The Marshes has changed side down cups to pool noodles...so much better. Putts are now staying in instead of ricocheting out.

    Metcalfe has some nice ball retrievers for their cups, can't find a pic of them. Pineview championship has their noodles too tall, ball rolls right over them.

    The ones at Metcalfe are kinda flimsy, plastic edition. They came off the flagstick too easily when you lift it up with putter or foot. I only saw them in the back 9s.
