    Perth Golf Course or Mapleview?

Will be camping with the family next week(18th-23rd) at Murphy's Point and will be golfing hopefully at least once with the father-in-law who's from TO while we're there. Should I golf at Perth or Mapleview if I can only go once? Which is more of a challenge? Better conditions? Any stories would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Either one is fine. I havent played Mapleview since the spring but it was in great shape when others were having problems. As for Perth the back nine is a great track. I dont know the condiitons this year but would like to know as well. We are oging to be playing it at the end of the month.

Played Perth this past Thursday(July 21st) with my father-in-law, had a great time. The back nine is definitely a little harder as it plays a bit longer than the front and you have to be smart off the tee like on #10. My two favorite holes were #17 and #18 beautiful and challenging. They were watering alot of the greens during the heat of the day as the area hasn't seen much rain lately was a little hard to read the greens because of this, but the grounds staff were out in full force doing there thing. Didn't find out until our back nine that there was no cart girl but you could get a cooler for your beverages in the restaurant although when we got some pints they'd run out of ice, just made us drink them faster. Highly recommended course even for beginners as closer tees(red) was short enough for even a beginner golfer. Even better it only cost me $15 as a member of the OttawaGolf club. Try it you'll enjoy.
