Executive Golf
Looking at buying a membership, but I am only interested in playing 2 maybe 3 courses on the list. How difficult is it to get a teetime at Stonebridge and eQuinelle?

I used to have the execute golf for many years until I become a member at a club. I liked it as you get to play on different courses but if you are planing on playing just those two, I would suggest to get a player game card from Stonebridge/eQuinelle directly. I remember playing at those clubs using executive but my schedule was flexible.

Stonebridge and eQuinelle are popular courses and have limited spots, best to book as early as possible.

Corporate GolfXtra is a really good option
Corporate GolfXtra membership is different than others because CGX buys inventory (golf rounds) and give members access to their best prices and virtually unlimited availability.
The best rates, more courses, and the best ratio of memberships to members to any similar type program... take a close look at Corporate GolfXtra
- If you missed Golf Expo in March, see attached show specials.
Hope you found this to be helpful.

Other thing to take into consideration, at least for this year, are the changes to the tee sheet. Will foursomes be allowed? How staggered are the tee times? I personally don’t think there will be as many spots this year. Now the question is, will this be offset by a decline in overall participation? Or maybe golf is even busier in which case it will be even more difficult to get access to the tee

For the better course I think there is a maximum numbers of games that you could play per year (10).

They are pretty flexible Re:junior memberships. Give them a call
As far a unlimited availability he means that you'll always get a spot somewhere but not unlimited to only a golf course.
For example Equinelle has 12 spots. If they're all booked on a given day then you'll have to go play elsewhere

Please call their office for details including JR golfers and expectations on availabilty.
Perhaps my comments will have no implications as courses will be subject to Gov. restrictions and the impact on tee time availability is unknown at this time.
I am thinking membership will have its privileges.
Lets hope for 10 min tee times and 4 players per group...
Economically, it is imperative the ROADMAP allows a realistic opportunity for courses to be profitable.

Slow play is the single biggest difference between public and private golf. I don’t care to spend more than 4 hours playing 18 holes. A round, even at peak time seldom takes more than 3:30-3:45. There are some beautiful public courses and some others that are incredibly inexpensive but as noted above, a couple slow foursomes and it’s a brutal day. It’s the single biggest turn off and the reason the game struggles to attract new participants.

If the courses would actually mandate a 4:00-4:15 round and enforce it---I would be perfectly happy with that.
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

To clarify my previous post, there are some courses (ex) Rockland that you can play only 10 times per year. Even if executive golf or golf extra have as many memberships as they want at the premier courses.Even if they have 12 or more spots per day the courses won't allow anyone from executive or golf extra to play more than the maximum games allow per person per year. Membership at those clubs would suffer if those restrictions were not in place. Why would I become a member if I can have unlimited golf at the premier course at a lower rates than becoming a member.

Not sure if golf courses are enforcing it.

Ten years ago 10 members at rockland decided not to renew their membership and get a package from executive golf. They found a loophole and played 3 times a week and bragged about how they could play our course anytime and at a cheaper rate. That did not go well from a membership side. A decision was made that there would be a maximum of 10 or 12 games allowed per players who were from these kind of memberships. The reason I think these memberships are great is you can play lots of different courses but also can play some of the better course. Not sure these memberships without those premium courses would be as popular. I'm sure these courses appreciates the upfront memberships money provided by these companies at the start of the year. I for one have played with executive or golf extra golfers when we were match with you guys. Enjoyed every minute of meeting new golfers and future golfing buddies.
