New types of pins for COVID-19

Hopefully are local golf clubs read this forum.

Pinehurst came up with these temporary pins for COVID-19, this prevents golfers from having to remove the pin to get to their balls in the cup. Yes everybody would have to put with the pin ''IN'' which I'm not a big fan, but I would adjust if it means that they keep the courses open.

The following measures are temporary but at least we'd by playing.

    - Modified pins
    - No ball washer
    - No beer cart
    - No bags drop service
    - No access to the clubhouse after your round

Might as well get one of those as your fingers come into contact with the rim when retrieving your ball

Just like in the Sims. Also got to lookout for pencils and scorecards. In a couple years from now there'll be a bottle of hand sanitizer attached to flagsticks

Just got back from the RTJ Trail in Alabama. No ball washers, rakes, water stations. Carts and flags still in use as well as cart girls - all three I hope continue or how do you really play effectively. They are really scrubbing the carts though. I had heard that at Ross Bridge they had taking the pins out but that is ludicrous on a $150 USD course, nothing to scope and at 8137 yds from the tips I was playing with no roll I need to have scope hit something!. Thank goodness they were in when I played. I saw another think on golf.com where a greenskeeper left the cup an inch above green. If your ball hits the cup it is considered in! Imagine no more heart wrenching lip outs! Like that idea better than Pinehurst method
