That's where the rules can be to your advantage. The communication with the refereee was excellent in that the right questions were asked. MacKenzie's swing would have totally taken the camera out and by the rules he was entitled to the free relief. Good job by him and the refereee.

As he's getting the relief from the immovable obstruction you do not have to re-create the lie. It was his good luck!!! If he was just identifying his ball or trying to find it in the bunker then he would not have the free relief and would have had to re-create his lie where the ball was. The Rules can sometimes help.
