rule E-5 lost ball or ball ob

Anyone seen the local rule e-5 posted anywhere they have played. Do you just go ahead and play by that rule anyway. Seem that the local rule should have been made the standard and the old rule should have been the local rule. Yet to see the new local rule posted anywhere.

I'm a member at Rideauview and it's posted in our locker room.

My guess is that at most public courses they don't bother since there isn't a membership per se. I imagine the semi-private clubs would have it posted somewhere.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Most clubs in the British Isles have not adopted it for official play. CONGU (the handicapping authority) will not accept the local rule for handicap counting scores so clubs have decided to leave it to organisers of 'unofficial' groups to decide on using it or not.

It's posted at Greensmere but I suspect than many public clubs don't post local rules. I like the rule and as far as handicap I don't feel it will affect it at all as ESC will usually kick in for that specific hole.

I agree ..it helps speed up play and is penal enough to be fair.

CONGU are apparently waiting to see how it affect scores and therefore handicaps. How they do that if the LR cannot be used beats me.
Particularly when they were part of the WHS team.
