Graham Gunn qualifies

I just saw on the news that Graham Gunn qualified for the senior U.S Open, is that true? If so way to go!

Earlier this week, Graham Gunn, Head Professional at Carleton Golf & Yacht Club in Ottawa, ON, won the one-day local qualifier for the 2005 U.S. Senior Open in Troy, New York. Gunn, who shot a 71, one stroke better than his nearest competitors, drained a 35-foot birdie putt on 18 to secure a spot in the field for the 2005 US Senior Open (event web site), July 25-31, 2005, at the NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio. Gunn's competitors in the upcoming event will include Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, Greg Norman, Ben Crenshaw, Hale Irwin, and Fuzz Zoeller.

REally small world to share with you guys. A good friend of mine was a local junior amateur a few years ago at Carleton. Anyways we were talking today about swing mechanics, tips you have received etc. Anyways he was talking about Graham Gunn and some tips that he received as a Junior.I had never heard of him until today and then this late breaking news comes forth....very cool
