Mobile Phone Golf GPS
I was using FreeCaddie as the preferred golf GPS application on my Samsung. But now, since I received a newer Samsung model, it longer works.
I am looking for advice on GPS systems for mobile phones, which do not use data.
I have no interest in a range finder.

I’d be interested in suggestions as well.

Downloaded this yesterday to my Pixel 3A and seems to work as the free version. Have not paid for the upgrade yet, but looks promising. Perhaps try reinstalling. First time I tried, it did not seem to generate list of courses. The second time it showed lots of local courses. Only thing I don’t like are the permissions you must grant for it to function.

It only requires the GPS I think but message the guy, he is great at resolving problems, and most of the courses in the area have been mapped by some lefty guy

Found GolfShot. seems to work very well. There is an annual charge, but the features seem worth it. still using the 7 Day free trial for the upgraded version.

I found these review about golf gps. I used Garmin and find it's quite good. Want to buy TomTom one, because like its design more.

I am now using Hole 19 (as suggested by Ginker), which is free in basic version and I find it does everything I want. Cheers, Mike
