Sun Mountain Speed Cart
Every year the bag just seems to get heavier and heavier, so I finally broke down and bought a Sun Mountain Speed Cart. mpare on this forum has had one for a while and I pushed his around for a bit at the Meadows event last year. The balance is incredible. It's like pushing your bag around on a cushion of air.
This is the Cadillac of push carts IMO. I got mine at GT for $225, which is $40 cheaper than the next best price I found in Ottawa. They had 3 come in the door today and I got the last one at 6:30 this evening. The sales guy said that they're going back out the door as fast as they come in. He also said that they have a big shipment of 55 coming in at the end of the week, so if you're looking for a cart that will make walking a breeze, get there early.
The OG Ryder Cup event this Sunday will probably be the easiest 36 holes I've ever walked. When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

These are indeed the Cadillac of golf carts...although the one feature I think needs changing is the location of the cup/bottle holder

Do you guys play on relatively flat courses? I find this thing a pain in the rear uphill.

I know what you mean...on extremely steep hills, the pushing can be a lot of work. Good thing the water bottle is right in front of you But for the majority of the time its definitely easier than a pull cart. I found that the 19th Tee on Carling had the best prices for push carts compared to GT, Chucks and Pro Golf. You can also get them to throw in a free bucket or two of range balls.
