Golf ball - Logo allowed?
I'm caddying for a buddy tomorrow at the Citizen tourney and I am wondering if he is allowed to use golf balls that have a company logo? Does anyone know?
Thanks,

He is allowed. He is even allowed to draw a line on his ball to help with alignment.

Why shouldn't he ? It's no different to the maker's logo or the player's identification mark mentioned in Rule 6-5. Unless it alters the playing characteristics - unlikely.
Or the Conditions of Competition specify no advertising on balls

Rule 5-1.
The ball the player uses must conform to requirements specified in Appendix III.
Note: The Committee may require, in the conditions of a competition (Rule 33-1), that the ball the player plays must be named on the current List of Conforming Golf Balls recognized by the Royal Canadian Golf Association.
