Jacks' showing the youngens he still has game. Gotta luv that 5 iron he hit on the 4th hole and eventually winning 4 skins against those wedges that VJ Ames and JD hit. Although Daly's was a great blind shot over the trees. His comment right after it was the best of the day. He said something like "I gotta go find out who I've been playing with"

They were saying the last time they played there for the skins in 1997 Jack hit 2 rion into the green. Think maybe technology had something to do with that? Either way he made birdies both in yesterday's round and back in 1997.

Is it just me, or do the others players interactions with Ames seem sort of laboured? Maybe it's because they don't know him as well, but he just doesn't seem to be "one of the boys"

Yeah Ames seems to be forcing the conversations....ah well at least he's trying, having fun and he's not skinless. Way to go Jack!

a good friend of mine actually played in the pro am with one of these guys. I think he is still out there watching the event and didn't know who he was playing with before he went. I'll report back the details when I hear them.
