Why TaylorMade Golf Balls?
Seems like a lot of people are now playing Taylor Made golf balls. Anyone know why? I am finding a ton of them on the golf course.

Because they are arguably a better ball than Titleist.

I understand the TP5's are a good ball but what about Project "a" balls? Rocketballs? Im finding tons. They can't all be better quality than the other manufacturers. Is it the marketing on TV that has the public buying them?

I haven't done a head to head for the other balls but in general TaylorMade has always made good golf balls.
If you aren't a victim of the cult of Titleist there are lots of options that cost less that perform as good or better for lower $$$.Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

The taylormade rocketballz and jetspeed, etc are cheap and I personally find them to be a decent golf ball (obviously nowhere near a tour level ball, but nicer then most in the price range). You can usually find a deal to get 24 of them for under 30$.

Bridgestone E5 balls are not bad. My son spins them a lot. Cover seems softer on them than the run of the mill balls.

I am a fan of TM's tp balls, but at full retail, they are expensive. I found several Project 'a' balls and liked them alot. I bought several boxes of the 15 balls for $44.99 minus 25%.

Thanks for the input ya'll. I seem to be finding so many TM's it's crazy. I have not tried the "a" balls but I've heard they have a good spin rate. I like the Rocketballz myself and use them. I'm selling most of the TM's I find in case anyone here is interested. They look like they just rolled out of the sleeve except for the price: http://forum.ottawagolf.com/showthre...-Sale-Like-New

Project a is a good ball. I think the e5 is being discontinued, too bad, the e5 was a 2-piece urethane.

Why's e5 being discontinued? I thought that was a good seller. I like that ball.
