First Opening Day prediction

My countdown calendar also has April 20 as opening day at Greensmere, which reflects the average opening over the life of the course. But, I would prefer the March 22 opening of 2012.

Weather forecasters predicted a cooler than average March but warmer than average from March through May.

Of greater concern is the amount of solid ice that lay on top of uncovered greens and the potential for damage. Let's hope.

Almost all of that melted before the last two weeks of snow except for perhaps the tree shaded areas. (Premiere#9 and some on Legacy might be a problem.)

The good news is that the warm weather will melt the snow quickly, if/when it comes.
