The Gatineau will be building some new holes on the property north of hole number 4. The holes along Edey road as well as the range will be used for residential development once the new holes are playable. Hole number 10 will be hole 17 and 18 will still be the home hole.

If 13, 14 and 15 go, no much sense in keeping 11, 12, 16 and 17 either. Looks like all what is west of the road allowance between 18 and 11 and stretching from McConnell to Aylmer Road will be developed. What I don't get is why this wasn't done in the first place. The location of the clubhouse makes more sense with the future routing.

Hopefully it remains as challenging, I like 14 and 15, 13 is ok.

I won't miss 14 though..those stupid power lines crossing over the fairway..hit them once and pretty sure residents lost their power for a while lol

I took a look on Google Maps in satellite view. Maps are from 2017 so somewhat current.
It looks like there are holes already cut out north of #4 and west of #2.
If they drop everything on the east side for development of homes, then I suspect #4 would become #11 so they would be building new #5-10 or 6 new holes.
The old #10 becomes #17.
I wonder if they have dates on how quickly they would get this up and running.
Have they said something to members?

I also looked at the satellite imagery..seems there may be some areas cut.Was not long ago that Gatineau reworked it's layout..but just glad that it will still be an 18 hole course and not a 9 only

What you see on the satellite view are a few overgrown fairways from the old Gatineau.
