eQuinelle in the Fall is just gorgeous....that'd be my tie breaker if all else is equal. And I'd say it's a nicer course in general...

Stonebridge has a great membership following. Nice guys and nice people. The pro shop though sucks, very unfriendly personnel. If you do join Stonebridge do it for the members group not the social group

Thanks for the info-it seems quite appealing that’s for sure

Thanks for the response. I had heard similar comments regarding the Shop.

Agreed on the proshop at Stonebridge, just never feel welcome there. Equinelle is the exact opposite, they treat me like I am a member, James and Katharine are both great and know how to treat customers. There also seems to be more of a community feel to it, even though both are in housing complexes, EQ just has a better membership feel to it. EQ has the range and a great putting green and short game area. In terms of the course, both have great conditions, and Stonebridge's greens were the best I have seen them this year. EQ is the more playable course, especially if I had to play every day and didn't always have my A game. If everything was equal in terms of distance I would join eQuinelle in a heartbeat.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

I am sure that you will enjoy any of your pick but I would suggest to select one that is close to your home with practice area.

Not playing enough golf to justify my membership at one of the top private venues. I realize Stonebridge has no practice facility, but my body doesn't stand up well to practice very much anymore either. I've played both courses several times and I'm kind of leaning towards eQ right now - their weekend membership sounds like a good deal.

However, any input from current or recent former members of either course would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Close to home is likely to be fairly important. Thanks.

Equinelle---hands down condition--scenery-friendliness. Absolutely top of my list. It is the farthest course for me to play but will take it anytime. Hit the traffic right or use the back road--40 minutes from Beacon Hill North.
    Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?
